Part 2 of this project will focus on an instructional video that includes a hook, introduction and outcomes, core lesson, and outtro. This video building block is part of Module 2: AI-Assisted Diagnosis > Lesson 5: Writing Effective AI Prompts. The location is visualized further below for ease of locating it within the content map.
The video prototype is below. Scroll further down to see the instructional design process.

This prototype was not created for a specific company, so for the purposes of this project I wanted to create a brand in order to make the result more realistic for the overall course offering.
I chose the name “Summit Learning” because the concept reflects education that provides the means to achieve a great height, leading to clear and comprehensive vision of the landscape ahead (the future that is being prepared for).
I worked with an AI tool to generate logo concepts, then chose one that resonated and recreated it in Adobe Illustrator, enhancing the image of a cursor within the central peak with the vertical lines mimicking the M’s in the name. The cursor and its animation (seen in the video) make a connection to digital learning, and the bright audio clip recalls an upward travel ending in enlightenment - the view that’s been achieved. The badge-like hexagonal frame can also be used in achievement badges or other repeated elements of the brand.
I then created a color palette for Summit Learning, and a slide template that applies its logo and color palette to course material.
Within the Content Map for this course you’ll find Module 2: AI-Assisted Diagnosis. Within that module is Lesson 5: Writing Effective AI Prompts.
Lesson 05 is broken out into sections, with videos comprising the majority of the learning content. The prototype will focus on Video A, which includes both the Intro to the lesson and Section 1: Basic Prompting Best Practices. The reference title is L05-A-V (Lesson 05, building block A, Video).
A zoomed-in version of this will be provided in the Wireframe section, coming up soon.
Here are the considerations for Video L05-A-V.
Based on the takeaways gleaned from our learner personas, our audience wants scenario-based learning with relevant takeaways. They have a preference for modular videos and case-based learning. For this reason, we’ll begin many lessons with a scenario as the hook, present content in video format, and then provide challenges that are focused on applying what they’ve learned.
